3. For what purposes do we process data?
3.1. To arrange your reservation, we use your name, surname and contact details. In this case, this information is transferred within the data processing to the partner restaurant you have chosen. If these data are not provided, Restu will be unable to arrange your reservation.
3.2. To arrange your purchase in the Restu store, we use your name, surname, contact details and, if specified by you, also invoicing details. If these data are not provided, Restu will be unable to deliver your order.
3.3. To offer our services and promote Restu and the partner restaurants by means of commercial communications sent to the users, Restu uses primarily the e-mail address, and occasionally also the telephone number for sending SMS. The processing takes place in this case only with your prior consent, which is fully voluntary. You grant your consent to Restu when making a reservation, making a purchase in the store or registering yourselves on the Restu website, or later in the settings of your member account.
3.4. If you have visited one of our partner restaurants, your name and surname, e-mail address, and occasionally also telephone number for sending SMS, may be used to promote that restaurant’s offer. In this case, personal data processing takes place, not on the basis of your consent, but rather based on a legitimate interest of the partner restaurant. The receipt of commercial communications from a partner restaurant may be cancelled at any time, or an objection may be raised against such processing of personal data with the partner restaurant. Unless the personal data are used by Restu also for some other purpose with your consent or on some other statutory ground, Restu will not further process these personal data after their transfer to the partner restaurant. As from the time of transfer of data, the partner restaurant is solely responsible for processing of the personal data.
3.5. A user review published by you and indicating your name and surname, or username, and your photograph, as appropriate, may be used for the promotion of the partner restaurants and/or the Restu website. The processing takes place exclusively on the basis of your consent which you grant by publishing the review.
3.6. If you have the relevant function enabled, we can send you “push notifications” directly on the website interface or through the Restu application. Information on the device you use will be utilised for these purposes. These notifications are displayed based on your consent granted after the relevant notification has been displayed on the website interface or by setting the Restu application accordingly. The settings may be changed at any time in your browser or in the application’s settings.
3.8. Restu operates a customer helpline to deal with your queries. For this purpose, Restu may process data on your name, telephone number and other data you state yourselves during the call. Restu may record your calls at the helpline with a view to meeting your requirements based on your legitimate interest. You will always be informed of the recording in advance. If you disagree with recording your call, you can obviously use other contact details of Restu.
