Information Sárvári Cukrászda
Sárvári Kálmán confectioner, became independent in Eger in the year 1927, and has been operating at its present location since 1928. His workshop was equipped with modern appliances, employing two assistants and two apprentice. The children also learned the craft of the father. The traditional flavors and recipes have been preserved in Sárvári Confectionery for the fourth generation and is still a popular gastronomic place for both citizens of the city of Eger and the visiting tourists. Their forte is the ice cream made exclusively through a natural process. The home-made cakes and tarts also preserve tradition and quality. The results of professional competitions and awards demonstrate professional commitment of the offsprings, and the absolute respect of the "inherited" craft.
