On the rare occasions I read reviews to help choose a restaurant, I go for the middle of the markings, as they are usually more informative. I tend to avoid gushing reviews. However, at this restaurant I have to submit a 5 star review. Primarily our choice was based on the selection of Foie Gras items on the menu. My wife had the four seasons of FG as a starter and I had the main course fresh FG as a starter. These were followed by venison and duck, ending with lemon sour cream and Dobos cake. The quality of the ingredients and the flavours of the food were outstanding. The tastiest meal we have had for a long time, and we know our restaurants. SUPERB. The recommended medium-sweet Tokai for the FG was outstanding and a perfect match, the later Pinot Noir a little too tannic for a wine from 2013. Service was very efficient, portraying a sense of experienced knowledge. At the same time everyone was extremely friendly and we enjoyed the ambience of the place. Ultimately, for us, it's about the food and Tigris satisfied us at the very top levels. Highly recommended.
